The back features one of the designer’s favorite maxims that has stuck with him through the years, imparted by a wise lifeguard at Rockaway Beach in his first glorious NYC summer of 2012.

All colors in this series were achieved by submersion, tie, and bleach dyeing in small batches by hand, with resulting colorways and patterns that are unique to each individual shirt.
