The Ocean Sconce by mjc nyc evokes the vent stacks of early 20th-century ocean liners: industrial, nautical, and monumental in scale.

Six bent steel bars form a protective cage around a smoked glass lens, and a cylindrical base holds dual bulbs at the center. The layered construction casts a warm, diffuse glow, while the blackened steel frame asserts a heroic scale and architectural weight.

Mounted singly or in pairs, the sconce anchors a wall like a ship at harbor. functional light wrapped in a form that suggests strength, voyage, and horizon.
